Description

Quantitative indicators of technical characteristics of plastics that are widely used in the dental practice for making of the temporary dental prostheses has been determined. It is shown that the strongest material is ProtempTM 4, and the most brittle - Structur 2SC. Ceramill PMMA polymer has the lowest strength, but begins to destruction under loads which exceed this index for of the rest of polymers. Established that the least degree of water absorption have samples Struktur and Protemp, the intermediate degree of the water absorption is characteristic of samples Tempron and Ceramill. Acrodent samples showed the highest degree of the sorption of water.
