The object of the investigation is the state of periodontal tissues of oral cavity at experimental diabetes mellitus and oral liquid of patients with II type diabetes mellitus. The subject of the investigation is the substantiation of the use of the preparations, containing bioactive substances for the prevention of the affection of oral tissues in patients with II type diabetes mellitus. The aim of the investigation is the study of the therapeutic and preventive effect of the preparations, containing bioactive substances, at the experimental diabetes and in patients with II type diabetes. The methods of the investigations: experimental, clinical, biochemical, biophysical, pathomorphologic, statistical. In 8 series of the experimental investigations it was determined, that the simulation of II type diabetes mellitus in rats causes the development of inflammatory and dystrophic processes in oral tissues, conditioned by the reduction of the level of antioxidant protection, nonspecific immunity and development of dysbiosis, disorders in bloodstream in microcapillary bed of mucous membrane, growth of hemoglobin concentration in blood and expressed demineralization of teeth hard tissues and osseous tissue of periodontium. These phenomena are proved by biochemical, pathomorphologic and biophysical investigations. It was shown that anti-hyaluronidase preparations, prebiotics and antidysbiotic preparations have antiinflammatory effect, reduce the processes of free radical lipids oxidation, degree of dysbiosis. The studies of oral liquid of patients with II type diabetes mellitus speak of the presence of dysbiosis in oral cavity and intensification of the processes of free-radical oxidation. The application of the preparation "Quertulin" as oral gel in these patients eliminates dysbiosis and reduces the processes of inflammation in oral liquid. 28 articles (incl. 3 ones abroad), 1 patent, 3 methodical recommendations published.
