The methodological bases of an estimation of sustainable development of black metallurgy of Ukraine are developed. The method of an estimation of steady development is developed on the basis of infrastructural parameters, them is economic, ecological and social. The method interrelation of cyclic development of metallurgy with a stability level of their economic safety and borders of sustainable development is found out. The basic branch of application is the metallurgy of Ukraine.
