The object of study: the system, the process, the result of methodical teaching social studies teachers in terms of level education in higher education and postgraduate period. Objective: To identify and substantiate the theoretical and practical principles, strategies, patterns of action models the impact of subject-methodical competence of the teacher in the formation of student competencies in the field of "Social Science" in the educational reform. Methods: dialectical, formal logic, statistical method, system analysis, modeling, questioning. The results of the second stage of the research experimental work (September 2013 - December 2014) and their novelty, organized and hosted a number of events involving participants in the experiment; developed and implemented model lessons from the field of school subjects "Social Science"; the criteria and analysis of the effectiveness of subject-teaching competencies of teachers in the formation of student competencies in education "Social Science"; developed and theoretically grounded model of student competencies of social science subjects; comprehensively researched and proved scientifically pedagogical conditions of modernization methodological study social sciences teachers in the system of university, postgraduate education and self-education; made corrections and additions to the conceptual developments experiment; prepared and published scientific and educational materials. The degree of implementation, results have not carried along. Recommendations for the use of the second stage of the research experimental work, to continue research and experimental work on the basis of programs developed and defined goals, objectives, hypotheses of scientific research; develop and complement the conceptual provisions specified in I and II stages of work; maintain constant contact between the participants of the experiment, exchange ideas and experiences (during seminars, meetings, network communities, etc.); conduct a final diagnosis of teachers and students; rewrite educational materials on the third stage of the experiment; to analyse and synthesize of the results of the experiment as a whole; develop recommendations for implementing the results of the experiment; prepare a scientific report on the results of experimental research work. Areas of application: teacher education. Economic efficiency: generating innovative educational programs, teacher training to the development of students' competitive competence. The significance of the work and conclusions: Criteria for the formation of a professional teacher, endowed with the appropriate competencies for teaching students social studies in high school in the context of innovation. Projected assumptions about the development of the research object: improving teachers' social learning model in terms of level education in higher education and postgraduate period; bringing the content pedagogical specialists training in compliance with requirement of the information technology society and the changes taking place in the socio-economic, spiritual and humanitarian sphere, innovations in the national and regional education.
