Description

The new method of in-service degradation of pipeline steels is approved which consists in artificial deformation aging of preliminary hydrogen charging of metal and combines the different mechanisms of degradation (deformation strengthening, artificial aging and development of dissipated damaging). The proposed method causes commensurable decrease of the characteristics of plasticity and impact strength like during tests of exploited steels.
