Results of the research of distributed systems based on the concept of cloud computing features are presented. Research was aimed to identify technologies and tools that enable operational infrastructure nodes to acquire the ability to adapt to unexpected changes in the environment. The possible consequences of conflict and the likely changes of the operating environment and adaptive capabilities of modern information technologies that can be used are analyzed. A number of analytical models and techniques, methods and algorithms that improve adaptation properties of globally distributed infrastructure operating node are proposed. Main research methods are: system analysis, mathematical modeling.
