A morphological description of the members of the order Insectivora, Rodentia, Carnivora, Cetacea and Artiodactyla was carried out. It was found that in oryctocoenoses (Sarmatian-Pont) 23 species of insectivorous (Erinaceidae, Talpidae and Soricidae) are present, as result the stratigraphic position of some locationswas identified. Ultrastructure of the teeth enamel of Prolagus, Ochotona, Sciurus, Trogontherium, Dipoides, Castor, Anomalomys, Pliospala, Spalax was first described. It is confirmed that the srtucture of enamel is a reliable species-specific morphological feature for representatives of Lagomorpha and Rodentia. New for science taxa from Murinae: Іramys Nesin, 2013; Apodemus alae Nesin, 2011; Orientalomys pidoplichkoi Nesin, 2013; Rhagapodemus ucraіnіcus Nesin, 2013; A. gorafensіs dіves Nesin, 2013 were described. Validity of the Late Miocene whale Cetotherium riabinini was confirmed. It was found that the whale Eocetus sp. belongs to the family Protocetidae. Vulpes praecorsac from the Pliocene of Ukraine is one of the most ancient Eurasia foxes, Vulpes odessana relates to previously unknown genus-group taxa. It is confirmed that in the evolution of Hyaeninae and Percrocutinae zigzag tooth enamel microstructure occurs. Comparison of the skull and dentition morphology of these subfamilies shows similarity to those of borofagin representatives. It is suggested that modern forest bison Bison athabascae is the only living representative now from the united population of B. priscus. The results can be used in dealing with the morphology, systematics and evolution of small and large mammals of Neogene-Pleistocene of Ukraine, as well as, in biostratigraphy and correlation of the continental deposits of Eurasia.
