Object of study - physical phenomena and structural-phase processes in solids at different hierarchical levels of structures. Subject of the study is the mechanisms of formation and evolution of structures in multi scaling solids of different nature. The influence of the structure of alloys and two-dimensional structure of graphene on the orientation relationships were examined, the relations are Dirichlet similar polygons. The parameters of hierarchical structures that formed in zirconium and its alloys in the absence of external influence are determined. Under transition to microstructural and macrostructural levels the trend of growth factors likeness is observed. Requirements to macro- and microstructure of molybdenum silicide for best thermal properties of the protective coating are formulated. The results correspond to world standards of research in this area. Advantages over analogues are that the mechanisms of structural and phase transformations determinate in the solid materials degradation, formation and optimization of surface and bulk composite materials that are formed as metal and non-metallic materials.
