Complex researches of the possibility of occurrence of the BN-C solid solution in system "wurtzite boron nitride - diamond" at high barothermal conditions are executed. Found that by sintering at high pressure and temperature (p = 7.7 GPa, T = 1500-1800 C) homogeneous mixture of powders wurtzite boron nitride and diamond of different origin and dispersion observed interaction of its components, which are formed as a result of the interlayer that identified as a solid solution of carbon in the boron nitride. With solid solution layer border zone of variable composition, which depends on the concentration of the components of its location relative to the components of the charge.
