The physical and chemical processes and structural phase transformations in ceramic and metal materials and coatings is the object of study. The purpose of work is the development of the preparation and modification methods for of functional metal-ceramic, ceramic composite, sintering materials and coatings with improved physical and mechanical properties. Structural-phase evolution in the manufacture of products based on ultra- and nano-dispersed ceramic and metal powders was investigated. Surface processes on consolidation and reflow were given special attention. The technology of composite metal-multicomponent materials and coatings has been optimized.
