Description

A clear dependence of the recovery and retention of postoperative sinus rhythm on the diameter of the left atrium, the duration of the existence of atrial fibrillation, the method of surgical correction. The complex surgical technique for treatment of atrial fibrillation in the correction of acquired valvular heart disease, which allows 79.4% of sinus rhythm during hospital stay, in addition, it has a significant economic impact, as it does not require the use of expensive equipment. In the long-term period of up to 5 years in sinus rhythm is maintained at 90.3% of these patients.
