The research of scientific and applied aspects of energy saving, implementation of the energy efficiency policy and its mechanism in the present conditions of limited energy resources in Ukraine is particularly relevant. In this research work there was conducted the analysis of modern scientific concepts of resource and energy saving and international experience in the implementation and management of energy-saving policy, which allowed to figure a range of instruments of energy saving investment support and identify particular types of policies' classifications in the field of energy saving. Also, the scientific and practical value have the developed proposals of forming the regional investment policy of energy saving and system of measures to implement the investment policy of energy saving in the conditions of innovative economic development by using economic, administrative and information mechanisms. The results can be used by regional authorities in the implementation of the investment policy of energy saving of the region.
