The subject of the research is the training system of competent engineering and pedagogical staff in Ukraine for the CIS countries of the Asian region. The work objective is to ground the psychological and pedagogical foundations of the development of the vocational training system of competent engineering and pedagogical staff in Ukraine for the CIS countries of the Asian region, and to develop and verify experimentally the effectiveness of this training system. The research methods are theoretical - processing philosophical, psychological and pedagogical, educational literature by methods of system-oriented, comparative, historical and logical analysis, defining concepts and categorical apparatus of the research, retrospective analysis of the educational documentation, theoretical modeling, empirical - pedagogical observation of students' activities, survey, questionnaires, tests, interviews with teachers. In the course of the research: - marketing research and monitoring of the Asian market of educational services was conducted; - psycho-pedagogical framework and the essential characteristics of the system integration of the activity, personality and competence- based approaches to the development of the training system of engineering-pedagogical staff in Ukraine for the CIS countries of the Asian region are defined, - the system of risk factors of students' disadaptation at different levels during the learning process is defined, the model of psychoprophylaxis and psychocorrection of disadaptation symptoms of students from Asian region aimed to adapt them effectively to learning at Ukrainian higher educational establishments is developed; - the concept of designing training system of qualified engineering-pedagogical staff in Ukraine for the CIS countries of the Asian region is developed, - the model of professional competence of teacher-engineers for the CIS countries of the Asian region and the corresponding model of their training system are worked out; - the system of preparation of competent engineer-pedagogical staff in Ukraine for the CIS countries of the Asian region is worked out; - educational documentation, information-methodical support of the process of preparation of competent engineer-pedagogical staff in Ukraine for the CIS countries of the Asian region and recommendations for the use of the developed preparation system for further teachers' training are worked out; - the efficiency of the worked out system of preparation of competent engineer-pedagogical staff in Ukraine for the CIS countries of the Asian region is experimentally verified. The scientific novelty of research results consists in theoretical grounding and developing the system of preparation of competent engineer-pedagogical staff in Ukraine for the CIS countries of the Asian region for the first time. The importance of research results consists in offering decisions on the creation of the system of preparation of engineer-pedagogical personnel for the countries of the Asian region that will solve the problem of flow of applicants from this region to engineer-pedagogical higher educational establishments of Ukraine to study on contractual basis. Practical verification of the developed system efficiency will enable to generalize its application for other regions of Asia and Africa. Within a framework of the research 3 monographs and 9 training aids were prepared, educational documentation and information-methodical support of the process of preparation is worked out, 26 articles, 44 publications in materials of conferences, theses of lectures, 6 publications of the students research papers are published, 6 Master's degree works are defended, 9 applications on patents are filed. On the results of the research 1 MPhil thesis is defended, 1 PhD thesis is submitted for consideration to the Specialized Scientific Council, 1 MPhil thesis and 1 PhD thesis are being prepared to defense.
