New theoretical approaches for calculation of X-ray moir? patterns were created on the basis of eikonal two-beam approximation, where diffraction vector is function of spatial coordinates and plays the role of slowly changing refractive index in optics; New techniques were developed for diagnostics of structural imperfections in multicrystal systems and phase inhomogeneity in biological objects; New techniques of digital phase-contrast topographic images and moir? patterns processing were created on the basis of wavelet analysis.
