One of the main improvement of the quality of welded joints of pipelines of nuclear power plants is to increase the quality of their preparation for welding joints sunk. Based on the results of experimental and technological research, analysis of available information on existing models of specialized equipment from leading world by hardware requirements for the preparation of the weld joints of pipelines irreversible nuclear diameter (14-159) mm and developed and justified technical proposals for major design decisions such equipment. A computer simulation of individual functional components of the equipment and layout of the individual units and mechanisms and made mathematical calculations of power units and kinematic chains such equipment. Methods, algorithms and control geometric parameters of the ends of pipes and joints develop their edges with the conditions of nuclear power. Methods of machine design developed the RCTs and other technical documentation for prototypes of equipment for preparation for welding parts of pipelines with a diameter of nuclear power plants (14-159) mm and the bench equipment and control - measuring equipment for inspection and testing of prototypes.
