Research object: the Old Ukrainian fortified line is a complex object of cultural heritage areas; historical settlements and objects of cultural heritage of South Ukrain. Article of research : architectonically-town-planning features of complex of historical development, architectonically-town-planning features of settlements of South Ukrain. Aim of work: exposure and generalization of architectonically-typology and composition features of fortification architecture of the Old Ukrainian fortified line, settlements. Research methods: collection of weekend of data, model inspections and monitoring of sights, analysis of the archived and cartographic sources, special literature, application of analysis of factual material analysis of material for systematization of the got results. Research job performance: analyst report and suggestions in relation to state registration and maintenance of traditional character of environment of historical-cultural objects of the Old Ukrainian Fortified Line; analyst report in relation to historical development of settlements of South of Ukrain and suggestion in relation to maintenance of cultural heritage on their territory.
