The aim is to identify, prove and verify experimentally of social and pedagogical conditions of the formation of socially significant qualities of a personality in a group charitable activities. Methods of study are theoretical, empirical, and mathematical. Results of study: applied effectiveness of the developed social and pedagogical conditions as well as efficiency of the complex methodics and technology of the forming of socially important qualities is proved experimentally; dynamics of changes in the formation of altruism, responsibility and initiative of the students of general educational establishments are defined; dynamics of changes of the formation of socially significant qualities of the juvenile delinquents are defined. The handbook "Education of the personality in charitable activities" and methodical recommendations "Charitable activities of the school children" are prepared to publication, they are expertised scientifically. The novelty of study: social and pedagogical approach as well as social and pedagogical conditions of the formation of socially important qualities of the personality in a group charitable activities and charitable projects of pupils as a social and pedagogical technology are proved for the first time; the notion of "social and pedagogical technology" are defined, the model of formation of socially important personality qualities of juvenile prisoners are developed, modern tendencies of the development of socially important qualities in the younger person are found; the meaning and definitions the concepts of "socially significant qualities of a personality", "altruism", "charity", "responsibility", "dignity", "initiative", "charitable activities", " group charitable activity", "pupil's charitable social projects" as a social and pedagogical phenomena are specified exactly; criteria and indicators of determination of the levels of the formation of socially significant qualities of the personality in a group charitable activities are developed, the levels and their typological characteristics are discovery; the forms and methods of the organization of group schoolchildren's activity, prevention meaningless leisure and deviant behaviour are further developed. Social impact of study is to enrich of content of social education of children and youth by the proof of social and pedagogical conditions and technologies that provide for increase the level of the formation of altruism, responsibility, compassion, dignity, prosocial initiative of children and youth.
