It was defined cultural, morphological, physiological and biochemical properties probiotic strains and the range of their antimicrobial activity against pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms. Experimental model to determine the effect of probiotic strains of lacto- and bifidobacteria on vaginal microflora and local immune response at the physiological norm and experimental urogenital staphylococcal infection in mice was created. The most promising probiotic strains and probiotic compositions, based on L. casei IMV B-7280, B. animalis VKL and B. animalis VKB, in experimental models of physiological norm was investigated
