For operative control and reliability prognostication of light-emitting InGaN/GaN heterostructures it is revealed that the parameters of microplasmas (EL intensity of defect line, voltage of switching, leakage current) have direct interconnection with the functional electric and luminescent parameters of heterostructures (light flux, tunnel current, voltage, a CVC steepness).
