The purpose of the work: to study the effect of electromagnetic radiation on the manifestation of the chronic form of epileptic syndrome, on the convulsive readiness in relation to epileptogens, the severity of seizures, and the rate of bacterial growth. The results demonstrated that exposure of parietooccipital area of the brain in rats to EHF EMR: A) removes kindling- provoked disturbances of motor activity in animals, such as reduced exploratory behavior, motor activity, emotional behavior abnormality; B) reduces the severity of pain reactions; C) reduces convulsive readiness in response to epileptogens and severity of seizures; D) enhances the anticonvulsant action of diazepam. The alternating magnetic field accelerates the growth rate of bacteria.
