It is shown that patients with chronic hepatitis C and infectious mononucleosis were observed to have intensification of lipid peroxidation against the background of suppression of the antioxidant defense, which depended on the period and severity of the disease. Imbalance in the system LP/AOS was accompanied by changes in indicators of platelet hemostasis in the patients. We determined, that disbalance in LP/AOS plays the main role in mechanisms of hepatocytes' destruction and progressing of liver inflammatory process. Such changes are reason to develop of fibrosis or cirrhosis in liver tissue.
