Based on the experimental study of the effect of the difference in electronegativity of the contacting materials on the coefficient of static friction, wear, cutting forces, chip deformation removes volume for the period of resistance, resistance of the cutting tool (CT) coated nanostructures (NS) and nano-coating. It is shown that the smaller the difference in electronegativity, the less adhesion between the coating material and the core material and the material being processed CT. At the same time, the larger the difference in electronegativity, the more adhesive interaction between the coating and the base material or the part RI. To estimate the effect of nano-adhesive interaction between the contacting materials on various theories, as well as the difference in electronegativities a satisfactory agreement between the results. The methods of selecting the coating material in contact coating (or core material CT) with the material being processed, as well as the choice of the coating material to the base material the CT or details the maximum adhesive interaction. Examples are given of the use of these techniques for selecting the coating and nano-coatings on CT and details.
