Identified potential of landfill gas through a comprehensive study of landfills in Ukraine. The scientific bases of complex utilization of greenhouse gases, gas collection system, its transport, treatment and separation of methane and carbon dioxide to a state of market product were developed. The technological process of fractionation of biogas, receiving biomethane and carbon dioxide gas where developed. An original system for collection and utilization of landfill gas with modern methods of calculation, technical solutions and materials where developed .Mathematical modeling of the system was done in the framework of the program system (PS) GazKondNafta developed at IG NASU. Introduced first in Ukraine comprehensive project of gathering and processing of landfill gas into electricity from unit with 6 piston generators and transformer substation.
