Developed UV-VUV radiator with excitation of sub-microsecond barrier discharge and investigated their emission, time and energy characteristics. Radiator output characteristics are optimized in dependence on the pressure of the working mixtures and parameters of the excitation system; calculated electron kinetic coefficients and created a kinetic model of the discharge plasma low density.
