The object of the study is a system of solid waste management in Vinnytsia region. The purpose is information gathering and analysis of integrated solid municipal waste management in Vinnytsia region for its next optimization and development of measures for separate waste collection. The state of landfills and waste dumps in Vinnytsia region has been analyzed; existing collection system (state of containers) and transportation (transport providing and frequency of removal) of municipal waste in all areas of Vinnytsia region have been analyzed; the regulatory framework in the field of solid waste management has been analyzed; the state of public awareness and opinion on municipal waste management in Vinnytsia region have been analyzed.
