Аn integrated complex of science-based, interacted methods and models for analysis of the state of a fuel element cladding, a fuel matrix and a fuel assembly (FA) in whole, intended for determination of the moment of their limiting state, when a reactor unit is operated in accordance to any energy generation regime of the power unit at normal operating conditions, has been developed. Based on these methods, methods for controlling the FA properties, in order to ensure a balance of safety and efficiency, have been created.
