A purpose of the work is an improvement of constructions and technologies of manufacture of passenger carriages trucks with increased speed of motion, and also perfection of technology of maintenance of passenger carriages with the aim of control by operating properties. The problem of low longevity of the friction vibration dampers of trucks of passenger cars and commuter trains, which is connected to the rapid wear of main friction pair of friction, requires each half-year to lay up carriages for permanent repair and replace the units of friction in dampers. It is not only labour intensive work but also expensive one. This problem is especially increased at high-rate of motion. On the basis of deep analysis of the state of problem of service properties increase of railways rolling stock and analysis of designer, technological, physical-mechanical characteristics which determine the service properties of movable connections of locomotive underframe part, the influence of their intercommunications is exposed on dynamic characteristics of rolling stock in the conditions of high-rate motion. The project foresees development of the control system by service properties of rolling stock for high speeds of motion by providing of possibility of controlling the stability of contact between the elements of friction pair of friction due to introduction of the perspective constructions of frictional vibration dampers and also due to improvement of technology of current maintenance of the trucks of passenger cars of type and commuter trains. The offered measures on application of the control system by service properties of rolling stock locomotive underframe for high speeds of motion will allow to increase the distance between overhauls run for the friction dampers approximately in 1,5-2,0 times as well as to decrease the general metal content in 2 times and to reduce in 2 times the expenses during operation of frictional vibration dampers.
