Object - strains of mycobacteria from patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Aim - the improving of the efficiency and standardization of methods of laboratory diagnostics of tuberculosis by developing an algorithm of geno-phenotypic diagnostics of tuberculosis with early detection of drug resistance of mycobacteria to antimycobacterial drugs. Methods - genetic, bacteriological, statistical. An algorithm for diagnosis of drug-resistant tuberculosis with complex using genotypes and phenotypic methods was working out, which contributes to the early detection of patients. A system of quality assurance of bacteriological examination in the institutions was created that carry out microbiological diagnosis of tuberculosis at different levels of health care provision. A method for determining the sensitivity of M. tuberculosis to anti-TB drugs in the material of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, which is the advantage of improving the accuracy of determining the sensitivity of M. tuberculosis to anti-TB drugs of the 1st and 2nd line of 1,23 times. "Criteria" of M. tuberculosis resistance to prothionamide, moxifloxacin, levofloxacin and linezolid were established, which provided standardization and expanded the range of products in the determination of drug resistance in system BACTEC.
