Research conducted in 75 patients allowed to prove that a high level of expression of GSTP1 gene is a marker of unfavorable disease. Thus, the rate of 2-year disease-free survival in patients with low expression of GSTP1 gene was 71 %, whereas in patients with high levels of expression - only 38 % (p = 0,042). The newly prognostic criteria were treated 68 children diagnosed with neuroblastoma aged 1 month to 15 years. Standard risk groups include 21 patients (30.9 %), high - 47 children (69.1 %).
