The non-precious metals hybrid oxygen reduction electrocatalysts for low-temperature fuel cells based on conducting polymers (poly-m-phenylenediamine, polyindole), iron, and nanosize carbon materials were obtained. The composition, structure and electrochemical properties of electrocatalysts were studied. The influence of pH on the effectiveness of the of hydrogen evolution process from aqueous solutions using a nano-modified electrodes were founded. The processes of CO2 utilization by electrochemically induced inserting it in various halogenated organic substrates to obtain valuable organic products were studied by using electrodes modified with multi-walled carbon nanotubes.
