Purpose: theoretical substantiation and development of ways of increase of competitiveness of the vegetable industry by improving the scientific bases of formation and mechanisms of functioning of the market for organic vegetable production. Results: It substantiates theoretical and methodological basis of relative characteristics of the functioning of the organic vegetable market, free of GMOs taking into account Ukraine's membership in the WTO and the EU. By respondent survey determined the degree of interaction and interrelation of supply and demand for organic vegetable products, and determined the impact of socio-economic factors on the formation of prices and its components. The developed model of optimization of acreage for the farm that it plans to switch to the production of organic vegetables. Standards of cost of cultivation of major vegetable crops under organic production (cucumber, tomato, onion, cabbage, carrot, beetroot). Technology with elements of organic production include: the use of organic fertilizers, green manure, mulching, destructors, compliance 9 field vegetable-fodder crop rotation, organic crop protection agents and growth regulators. The implementation of proposed technical and technological solutions improves the quality characteristics of vegetable products and will have an impact on the ecological security of the country. The peculiarities of the pricing mechanism in the production of organic vegetables on the basis of normative method.Determined the forecast level of minimum prices that will provide an opportunity to ensure break-even production with their further application in practical activities of enterprises.
