1728 investigated samples of tomato. Selected genotypes with high adaptive and productive potential and fruit quality with a view to engaging them in the selection process for the creation of varieties for mechanical harvesting. Implemented 272 combinations of crosses of identified carriers of valuable features and properties. The peculiarities of inheritance of major quantitative traits in F1 hybrids of tomato. Conducted a comprehensive assessment of breeding material and selected the best samples exceeding standards on the yield of 10-28% have high marketability (89-98%) and fruit quality (dry matter content of 5,6-6,2%), suitable for mechanical harvesting. In the Register of plant varieties of Ukraine are included 2 varieties of tomato: Lehin' and Kumach, for which he received patents. Received 4 certificates of authorship on tomato varieties. In 2015, the state veterinary and phytosanitary service of Ukraine for the examination transferred to a new variety of tomato Yuvіleiniy with a yield of 80 t/ha, suitable for mechanical harvesting. The National center genresources plants of Ukraine passed two valuable samples of tomato: Preludija and Cometa. Developed "Method Gametofit and Sporofit selection on the example of tomato".
