Algorithms and methods for analyzing the interaction of optical waves with micro- and nanostructures have been developed to determine the conditions of a plasmon resonance, waveguide resonance, and the resonance of the surface plasmon polaritons. The mathematical models of physical phenomena of interaction of optical waves with micro- and nanostructures have been developed. A series of numerical experiments of structures under a waveguide, plasmon and plasmon-polariton have been conducted.
