The object of research is the process of inter-regional cooperation in terms of deepening European integration. The purpose of research is to deepen the theoretical and methodological bases of formation and development of practical recommendations for effective implementation of the organizational and economic models of interregional cooperation in terms of deepening the European integration model. Results: systematized theoretical and methodological approaches to defining the essence of inter-regional cooperation as a process of interaction between different levels of taxonomic units, studied the genesis of regional theories and defined conceptual approaches to the study of the process of regional development, scientific publications, the protection of master's works.
