When considering the socio-political aspects of globalization, the focus is on social threats and risks - the crisis of national identity, migration processes, increasing inequality in the world. Philosophical analysis of globalization processes has been concentrated around their anthropological dimension, in particular - problems of formation of the personality of the global world, determination of their personal value-ideological imperatives and ways of formation of universal human values. The study demonstrated the potential of humanitarian component of education in developing the skills of culture of dialogue, the ability to non-repressive coexistence in a variegated global environment. On the basis of concrete historical approach the authors examine the socio-cultural consequences of globalization in the context of the national state building, the problem of preservation of the national cultural identity and statehood of the Ukrainian people, the geopolitical aspects of state building in modern Ukraine.
