Purpose of the research is to determine issues of Latin, English, German French and Ukrainian terminology and establishing appropriate equivalents. A basic method of research is a contrastive analysis. A problems of synonyms, analogy and double translation in medical terminology is the theme of wide intercathedral scientific research, that is called to provide interesting conclusions and results important for development of both Ukrainian medical terminology in particular and for scientific Ukrainian on the whole. A statistical analysis confirms, that in scientific texts the simple prevail widespread and complex sentences.Syntaxis of structure in medical texts complicated only partially. In such texts, however, the large degree of complication is noticed in nominative phrases, that mostly are difficult word combinations form from moresimple terms. Analysing medical texts as variety of scientific, it is worth to pay attention to that during work with them a basic problem is medical terminology that often becomes an obstacle for understanding of maintenance of text.
