It was determined that the degree of obesity, the main criteria of the metabolic syndrome, the influence on the course of surgical pathology. The finding sclerotic, trophic, inflammatory changes in adipose tissue in obesity, metabolic effect on the aggressiveness of the subcutaneous adipose tissue and the omentum, thereby leading to the formation of purulent postoperative complications in patients with the metabolic syndrome.
