Objects of Research: lines and hybrids of Drosophila, polytene chromosomes in Drosophila salivary glands, seed of agricultural plants, human buccal epithelium cells. Objective: comprehensive study of electromagnetic radiation influence on cell properties (cell viability and expression of apoptosis and necrosis signs) and the process of fertilization and embryogenesis using model objects (Drosophila). Methods: study of differential gene activity in polytene chromosomes, study of degree of polyteny in polytene chromosomes of Drosophila, study of the state of interphase chromatin in cells, study of the permeability of the plasma membrane in human cells, study of the frequency of dominant lethal mutations in Drosophila, study of the viability of Drosophila. Results: the effect of ionizing radiation and magnetic and electromagnetic fields on the state of chromatin in the nuclei of cells is shown, the effects of these factors on the state of cell membranes are also demonstrated. The effects of ionizing radiation in combination with the magnetic field, and also effects of laser light in combination with caffeine on the development and viability of offspring Drosophila are shown. The new effects of microwave radiation on the redistribution of Ca 2+ in the cell, and on membrane permeability in human cells, and magnetic field on cell viability are sown
