In the course of research, the following results: 1) the optimal regimes of deposition, in which nanostructured coatings exhibit maximum values of hardness and elastic modulus are established; 2) the physical processes in the surface layer of multicomponent coatings during ion implantation Au + are describes; 3) the influence of the thermal annealing and spinodal segregation on the hardness of nanostructured coatings are defined. Object of study is the phase formation processes and their relationship with the physical and mechanical properties of multicomponent nitride coatings. The purpose of the study is to establish the relationship between structural-phase state and mechanical properties of nanostructured superhard coatings, and the impact on them spinodal segregation and high-temperature annealing.
