Object is the management of indirect costs in economic activity SSPE "Kommunar". The study is the development of methodological bases of indirect costs and development engineering companies for their organizational and methodical positions and practical recommendations. Research methods. To address the problems in the used general scientific and applied research methods, systems analysis - the analysis of characteristics of basic methods of calculation of production costs, their organization; abstract logical approach - in developing recommendations for the use of cost calculation methods for different industrial and economic conditions of machine building companies and the various stages of the life cycle of their products. The practical significance of the results is that the proposed development permit to develop and improve the tools management indirect costs of economic activities within the engineering companies, which increases the validity of management decisions.
