Draft interstate standard "Rolled metal for building steel structures. General technical requirements" was developed instead of GOST 27772-88. Draft standards provides: specifying of mark range, chemical composition of steel according to heat analysis of ladle sample and ready rolled metal, methods of steel reinforcement taking into account resources of contemporary metallurgy, implementation of new steels with higher hardness, increase of corrosion resistance, fire resistance and requirements for bending impact test with sharp notch, as well as method of statistic control of mechanical properties, it will promote reliable estimate of quality of rolled metal of small volumes manufactured on new rolling-mill equipment or when change of process of its manufacture.
