Main factors defining catalytic activity of the acid-modified samples of natural clinoptilolite (CP) in the reaction of glycerol with acetone were found by methods of experiment planning. Two groups of the catalysts with the diameter of particles of d = 0,05-1,5 mm obtained by previous treatment of CP factions with nitric acid which do not reduce the activity for 6-7 cycles of work, were investigated.
