Research object: sintering and blast-furnace processes. Research methods and apparatus: physical design, statistical analysis. Research purpose: increase of technical and economic indexes of sintering and blast-furnace productions. Analyzed were the results of industrial research of powder coal injection into the hearth of blast furnaces. In laboratory conditions a comparative evaluation of the sintering process productivity by raw charge and finished sinter cake output under a closed balanced cycle of return is most objective. In gasdynamic cylinder there fulfilled researches of gas transmission of blast furnace burden at various component placing.
