Theoretical and methodological basis of the study are the work of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of arc control and its properties in arc surfacing. Experimental studies were carried out on a specially designed bench, consisting of a power inverter power supply, welding tractor and developed high-frequency pulse generator electrode displacement. Chemical analysis of the weld metal was carried out using a scanning electron microscope - microprobe REMMA - 102-02. Measurements of the ground and weld metal hardness was performed using TA-10 hardness, micro- and macrostructure of metal was tested for NEOFOT-22 optical microscope. Effect of fluctuations on the stability of the process of welding and metal transfer was evaluated by statistically processed waveforms of current and voltage, obtained using an electronic USB-oscilloscope. Measurements of the geometric parameters of the weld bead, the study of the structure and hardness of the weld metal was carried out at the micro and Macrosection, determination coefficient surfacing carried out according to conventional techniques.
