Short-rotation poplar and willow plantation established last year in Kharkiv region was supplemented. At the end of vegetation season, measurement of productivity and growth parameters was carried out. Laboratory collection, created last year, have been increased, and it currently includes 21 poplar and 7 willow clones. Experiments with in vitro poplar and willow plants propagation were continued. The heat values and ash residues for different clones poplar and willow wood samples were determined.
