The object of study is the assessment of productive, technological, adaptive traits at different stages of ontogenesis and the methodology of evaluation of animals during ontogeny and breeding-genetic analysis of different breeds and types of dairy cattle South of Ukraine. Purpose - to develop a methodology to assess of the animals during ontogeny and breeding-genetic analysis of different breeds and types of dairy cattle in South of Ukraine. The research methods are: breeding, scientific and economic studies,immunogenetic, population genetic analysis, biometric analysis. The methodology of evaluation of the animals during ontogeny and breeding-genetic analysis of different breeds and types of Dairy Cattle in the South of Ukraine. This method includes: the selection-genetic analysis of the population of dairy cattle; the evaluation of type formation of the remount heifers of dairy cattle during ontogenesis; the evaluation of the predictability of the selection-genetic progress in the open populations of dairy cattle; the determination of the level of influence of bulls-sires in the qualitative improvement of dairy cattle populations; the methodology of complex analysis of dairy cattle populations using the immunogenetic markers.
