Object of research: - the process of psychological and educational support for children with visual impairments in the educational space of modern Ukraine. Subject of research - the means and mechanisms for standardization and implementation of education for children with visual impairment in primary and basic levels (software, educational-methodical and didactic support). Methods of research: theoretical (analysis of scientific sources, including ophthalmic, psychological and educational literature, teaching experience, comparison, classification, compilation); empirical (purposeful pedagogical observation, interviews with teachers of special and inclusive schools, parents, students, questionnaires, teaching experiment - stating, forming), the methods of mathematical statistics. Novelty of research: is to determine the theoretical foundations and scientific approaches to the implementation of the updated software content in the elementary school for children with visual impairments; outlining innovative trends shaping and implementation of correctional and developmental work, the use of forms and methods of implementation of educational content and psycho-pedagogical support; implementation trends textbooks for children with visual impairment and profound statement of principles implementation. The degree of implementation: the results of research reflected in the published interim results of the study - training programs, trained correctional and developmental programs of analytical materials for primary school, articles, materials of scientific conferences. Field of application: correction pedagogy, education psychology, educational process in special schools for the blind and children with low vision.
