A proligand of new type, a heterocyclic hydroxamic skeleton acid, mono- and mixed-ligand, mono-, bi-, hetero- and polynuclear complex compounds of Pd(II), Ru(III), Rh(III), Ag(I), Mo(VI), Zn(II), Cu(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II) with bisposphonic and amino acids, acetoacetic acid, hydroxyiminoacetic acids, carbothiamides, thiurea, hydrazones, thiosemicarbazones have been obtained and spectrally and structutally characterized. It has been found that palladium(II0 and copper(II) complexes show anticancer activity, and copper(II) and molybdenum(VI) complexes can find application as lubricating composites.
