From the standpoint of structural strength of glass the concept of operational military facilities on the basis of transparent armored basic elements is developed. The techniques are developed, experimental equipment is modernized and a complex of static and dynamic testing of glass, adhesives and protective armored glass is conducted. Given into account the characteristics of advanced domestic industrial technology new technical solutions for the transparent base units, their connections and brackets are proved. A set of evaluation results for the impact strength and damage of the experimental samples of transparent armored basic elements of 1 - 6 classes of resistance for systems of operative armoring of stationary objects, light armored vehicles and engineering machines is designed, manufactured in the factory and received.5481
