Description

Object: the National Archival Holdings concept in terms of archival heritage of Ukraine. Subject: genesis and evolution of the National Archival Holdings in the intersection of archival theory and practice, conceptual apparatus, theoretical, legal, organizational, scientific and methodological aspects of the NAH documents. Purpose of the research: the study of theoretical, methodological, organizational-legal and applied principles for organization of the NAH documents at all structural levels. Objectives of the research: to identify and process the sources for the research; to characterize the state of scientific development of the subject; to justify the relevance and feasibility of its study; to determine the methodology of the research; to summarize the experience, approbation methodologies and modern perspectives of the organization of the NAH documents in archival institutions of Ukraine; to conduct scientific and applied researches and on their basis to justify the theoretical and methodological principles of the sets of the works on the NAH documents organization. Research methodology: a set of interrelated general scientific principles, approaches, general and special scientific methods, basic principles and methods of archival and particular humanity studies. The novelty of the research: the research is carried out in Ukraine for the first time; the results of the research will be implemented in the development of methodical manual «Organization of the Documents of the National Archival Holdings». Scope of application: archival institutions preserving the NAH documents. Implementation efficiency: application of the methodological guidance in practical work in the archives of Ukraine. The research conduct updates due to high public and scientific status of the NAH – one of the greatest wealth of the Ukrainian people, a significant component of national and world cultural heritage, information resources of society. Also due to the need to improve and regulate archival processes and technologies for the organization of the NAH documents at all structural levels.
